Hi, I stumbled upon this website. I'm looking for prices on what a lease extension will cost for a garden flat based in Wavertree. It's up for sale at the moment but has roughly 58 years of unexpired leasehold
I own a property in Wavertree and it has around 78 years outstanding. I'd like to arrange a lease extension by twenty years
I am looking at investing in a holiday home but it has a lease that expires in twenty years. Its in Wavertree - I wanted to see if with your services this could be extended?
This flat I have in mind requires only ground rent. Long lease so no lease extension required. I have asked the estate agents as to what happens to building insurance and responsibility for communal areas and if one of the two flats which make up the property wants to make alterations. They said they did not know. I cannot see how one could get buildings insurance for the whole building shared with another flat, either downstairs or upstairs. I do need to clarify things like this before I undertake all the expenses involved in purchasing a property I feel. Do freeholders actually supply their own insurance?
I purchased a garden flat in Wavertree. The start date for the lease was in 1991 for 99 years. Now I am wanting to extend the lease. I am uncertain about further expenses, could you tell me please how much I should expect to spend on this?

Regarding a residence in Wavertree. lower maisonette. 62 yrs left. I have negotiated a lease extension price of £12,000 for 135yrs. Landlord also requested Section 42 Notice which I think is a tad over the top. Advice required.
My brother and I had entered into a purchase of a garden flat in Wavertree. I was informed that the lease had been extended (sixety seven years remaining prior to extension). The description on the listing stated "sold with a long lease". It transpires as we are about to exchange of contracts we find that the lease has not been extended. The seller supposedly has a quote but no funds to extend and consequently the vendor wants to exchange and use the 10% deposit to extend the lease. My question is how is possible that the estate agent got it so wrong?
We have been in discussion with our freeholder after having a valuation on our ground floor flat in Wavertree. We have a 56 year lease and we wish to increase this to 99. The Freeholder has given us with a financial figure that she is happy with to accept for the extension of the lease, which we are happy with as well and wish to proceed. All we need now is a to handle this for us. Can you please provide me what your costs would be to act on our behalf.
I'm looking at purchasing an apartment in Wavertree valued at £256,000 the flat has approaching sixety years left on the lease. My offer was conditional upon the lease being extended... .. that was back in August, expecting I'd have moved in by Christmas. They have just informed me they are willing to reduce the price by£7k if I deal with the lease extension myself. I'm unsure if I should take them up on the offer
