Hi, I am looking somewhere around or in Soho 8-10 years lease remaining houses. I dont know if I am on the right site. Can I find lease remaining houses from here?
I am in need of a rough estimate of what a lease extension will cost for a flat I intend to buy. It has 65 years residual lease term.
We have seen a house for sale for £185,000 and we are very interested but we've just found out that it is leasehold. There are 899 years balance left so a lease extension is not an issue. We didn't know what this meant but the internet suggests we wouldn't own the land or property, just the lease to live there. Is this correct? We wouldn't want to pay a mortgage for twenty years without the house being ours. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
I have contacted my freeholder to extend my lease for my flat in Soho. His conveyancing practitioners has been in contact regarding fees etc. I need an estimate for dealing with the legalities to secure a lease extension. The property currently has a 99 YR lease which started Septembmer 1993.
Think I may have made a mistake, I am seeking a conveyancers in Soho who has Leasehold Tribunal expertise in relation to lease extensions. Is this something you can help me with?
The terms for the lease on my flat in Soho are 99 years from 15 Sep 1980. Please provide me a quote for a lease extension if I give you more information please?
I'm looking for a flat to purchase in Soho and I'm not really familiar with the leasehold arrangement. I've found a place I like with a 82 years lease. My research reveals that I can apply for a lease extension having owned the property for 2 years, but:- Should I be looking for some caveats that would prevent me for getting a lease extension?
If a leaseholder owns a flat with a lease of under 80 years, they can afford the lease extension by borrowing the funds against the property, and the value of the flat with the new lease will more than cover the cost of the extension, then is there any justification for not doing it?
Hello I am the freeholder title in a 3 bedroom flat in Soho. The leaseholder has a sixety seven year lease and would like to purchase an additional 125 years. He is offering me £21,000 but I am unsure if this is a correct amount
I am currently in the process of remortgaging my one bedroom apartment in Soho and the bank that I am looking to switch to needs at least 85 years on the leasehold of my property in order for them to take the mortgage forward. We currently have around 60 years on the leasehold so looking for some advice, guidance, and some quotes to start the lease extension process
