We have just acquired a one bedroom apartment inQuedgeley and I'm thinking about a lease extension as soon as possible e.g. after 24 months of ownership
My wife has an apartment based in Quedgeley which we are about to put on the market. The leasehold has circa 79 years balance left on it and we are concerned this will come up for anyone who may be interested. I am after more information on how we get started on a lease extension? Many thanks.
I acquired a property in Quedgeley and it has about 62 years remaining. I'd like to extend the lease period
We have seen a house for sale for £215k and we are very keen on but we've just discovered that it is leasehold. There are 899 years residual lease term so a lease extension is not required. We didn't know what this meant but the internet suggests we wouldn't own the land or property, just the lease to live there. Is this correct? We wouldn't want to pay a mortgage for twenty years without owning the property. Any information would be much appreciated.
Hello. I need a solicitors to have a look at my lease extension prior to it being completed just to ensure there's nothing that I haven't seen - it's just a reissue with a few small changes.
My co-lessees and I are in a building comprising five flats in Quedgeley and have been offered to buy the freehold for 5k per flat rather than go for lease extensions. We are all in agreement that we want to do this but how do we get started and what is the likely cost?
Possibly made a mistake, I am actually looking for a property lawyers in Quedgeley who has Leasehold Tribunal expertise when it comes to lease extensions. Are you able to assist me with?
We had entered into a purchase of a 2 bed flat in Quedgeley. I was assured that the lease had been extended (sixety four years left prior to extension). The description on the listing stated "sold with a long lease". It transpires at the point of exchange of contracts we find that the lease has not been extended. The seller supposedly has a quote but no funds to extend and consequently the homeowner intends to exchange and use the deposit monies for the lease extension. My question is as the lease hasn't been extended is there not a danger that it would breach my lenders lease length criteria?
My OH and I have been in discussion with our freeholder after having a valuation on our maisonette in Quedgeley. We have a sixety year lease and we wish to increase this to 99. The Freeholder has provided us with a premium amount that he is happy with to accept for the extension of the lease, which we are happy with as well and wish to proceed. All we need now is a conveyancers to handle this for us. Can you please provide me what your costs would be to act on our behalf.
My OH and I are hoping to acquire a home (a studio flat located inQuedgeley with share of freehold). During our search, we were always looking at apartments that had a minimum eighty five years residual lease term. We came across a place we fell in love with and the estate agent promised us that the lease was long albeit not specifying a number. Yesterday our property lawyers informed us the lease only has fivety four years and therefore needs a lease extension. Do we run away, or do we negotiate our offer?
