My fiance agreed with the landlord to a lease extension on our flat in Northop Hall, 16.5k for a further 90yrs. What's your legal fee ?
I'm planning to make an offer on a house in Northop Hall but I'm concerned about it being leasehold. Do you know what title absolute means and is this regarding the lease? Also, we have asked to see a copy of the lease but the homeowner said they might not have it. We are worried about restrictions, and dont know what to do. We have also been approved for the mortgage but the lender doesn't know its leasehold. Do houses qualify for lease extension? Will this affect Skipton Building Society giving us the mortgage now?
I am looking for a rough estimate of what a lease extension will cost for a flat I intend to purchase. It has 57 years unexpired.
We have seen a house for sale for £185,000 and we are very keen on but we've just discovered that it is leasehold. There are 928 years outstanding so a lease extension is not an issue. We didn't know what this meant but the internet suggests we wouldn't own the land or property, just the lease to live there. Is this correct? We wouldn't want to pay a mortgage for 25 years without the house being ours. Any help would be much appreciated.
I would like to have my residential flat leasehold extension premium assessed. The flat is in Northop Hall, and my lease will reach fivety five years this November. Could you advise me about the costs and time-frame to obtain an appraisal? Also, do you represent your clients at the LVT court?
I am seeking advice as I am interested in a property that has only a 77 year lease and therefore requires a lease extension. Can I talk with someone to go through my options please?
Just been over 2 years that I have owned my garden flat in Northop Hall. I have fivety seven years unexpired lease on the lease. I am now looking either to buy a share of freehold or a lease extension. I acquired the property for 320K, it is now roughly 445k. I understand that 90 years is the period most people extend. I spoke to my conveyancers about the process, he answered most of my questions but just have one left: In terms of surveyors - how do I go about finding one?
I'm looking at purchasing an apartment in Northop Hall at a price of £256,000 the flat has approaching seventy five years remaining on the lease. My offer was subject to a lease extension... .. that was back in November, expecting I'd have moved in by now. The seller has just informed me they'll reduce the price by£2k if I deal with the lease extension myself. I'm not sure if I should take them up on the offer
Are you able to provide an estimate to extend my mum’s lease on a three bedroom second floor purpose built maisonette in Northop Hall. She already has a price from the freeholder for a lease extension but I am unclear whether it is too high.
I have a lease of seventy six years remaining on my flat in Northop Hall. We are looking for a lease extension, so we contacted our freehold company and they came back with a quote that was double the amount and half the extension time that the lease extension calculator provided. Is there anyway, without racking up a huge legal bill, we can ask the freehold company to provide their computation of the amount and how they derived to it?
