Hello, I am looking somewhere around or in Knotty Ash 8-10 years lease remaining houses. I dont know if I am on the right site. Can I find lease remaining houses from here?
I'm about to make an offer on a house in Knotty Ash but I'm concerned about it being leasehold. Do you know what title absolute means and is this regarding the lease? Also, we have asked to see a copy of the lease but the homeowner said they might not have it. We are worried about restrictions, and dont know what to do. We have also been approved for the mortgage but the lender doesn't know its leasehold. Do houses qualify for lease extension? Will this affect Britannia giving us the mortgage now?
Hello. I need a to review my lease extension before it's completed just to ensure there's nothing that I haven't seen - it's just a reissue with a few minor changes.
This flat I have in mind requires only ground rent. Long lease so no lease extension required. I have asked the estate agents as to what happens to building insurance and responsibility for communal areas and if one of the two flats which make up the property wants to make alterations. They said they did not know. I cannot see how one could get buildings insurance for the whole building shared with another flat, either downstairs or upstairs. I do need to clarify things like this before I undertake all the expenses involved in purchasing a property I feel. Do freeholders actually supply their own insurance?
We would like to extend our lease. We will have been in the place for two years as of 22nd Jan 2015. It has just over seventy nine years remaining currently. Hoping to get a lease extension by another 90 years as quickly and stress free as possible.
Me and my fiance are proceeding with a purchase of a maisonette in Knotty Ash. I was advised by the EA that the lease extension had already been completed while on a viewing (58 years outstanding prior to extension). The sales particulars stated "sold with a long lease". It transpires as we are about to exchange of contracts we find that the lease has not been extended. The seller apparently has a quote but no finances to extend as a result the owner intends to exchange and use the deposit monies to extend the lease. My question is how is possible that the estate agent got it so wrong?
I'm living at parents but have a one bed flat in Knotty Ash let out which has a 65 year lease. Mortgage broker said I can remortgage as a buy to let instead of consent to let and release 55-60k which on top of a new mortgage based on my income. Not much about in Knotty Ash for me to get my own place. If I sell I will only get 150-160 due to tenant (8 months left on AST) and lease. A lease extension will cost 13k. Should I keep or sell the flat?
I have a freehold of a one bedroom flat in Knotty Ash. The leaseholders have fivety seven years on a lease and wants to purchase another 90 years. The have offered me 19k. Is this around the right price?
I own the freehold reversion of a property in Knotty Ash and a leaseholder has requested a lease extension. Her so called valuation expert has provided a figure of £9,000, but has increased this to £10,000 at the drop of a hat. My surveyor has come back with £12,520. She does not appear to wish to negotiate wanting to go to LVT. If a lease extension does go to tribunal, can I deal with this myself, just equipped with the valuations I have? If not, what fee would I be likely to face?
We have a garden flat in Knotty Ash with a lease of 58 years left with a value of around £370000 we want to add 90 years to it, how much is that likely to cost?
