Hi, I stumbled upon this website. I'm seeking prices on what it cost to extend a lease of a 2 bed apartment located in Hersham. It's up for sale at the moment but has around 55 years left on the lease
I need to extend my existing lease can you assist? My investigation with the Land Registry reveal that it has 56 years remaining
Hello. I need a property lawyers to review my lease extension prior to it being formalised just to make sure there's nothing that I haven't seen - it's just a reissue with a few minor changes.
I own a one bedroom apartment in Hersham. The lease started in 1997 for 99 years. Now I am looking for a lease extension. I am not entirely sure about further expenses, could you tell me please how much I should expect to spend on this?
Me and my fiance are proceeding with a purchase of a garden flat in Hersham. I was told that the lease had been lengthened (seventy seven years left prior to extension). The description on the listing said "sold with a long lease". It turns out as we are about to exchange of contracts we find that the lease has not been extended. The current owner apparently has a quote but no finances to extend as a result the homeowner wishes to exchange and use the 10% deposit for the lease extension. My question is why has this only just been brought to my attention by my lawyers?
I'm living with my parents but have a ground floor flat in Hersham let out which has a sixety seven year lease. Mortgage broker said I can remortgage as a buy to let instead of consent to let and release 55-60k which on top of a new mortgage based on my income. Not much about in Hersham for me to get my own place. If I sell I will only get 150-160 due to tenant (8 months left on AST) and lease. A lease extension will cost 19k. Should I keep or sell the flat?
I'm looking at purchasing an apartment in Hersham at a price of £256,000 the flat has approaching seventy five years unexpired on the lease. My offer was subject to a lease extension... .. that was back in September, expecting I'd be in by Christmas. The owner has just informed me they'll knock £5k off if I deal with the lease extension myself. I'm not sure whether that's a good idea
My fiance and I are are hoping to complete on a one bed flat in Hersham which has share of freehold and a leasehold. The lease was on the short side so the seller is in the process of extending the lease. The seller’s lawyer has submitted the lease extension paperwork to HMLR. A crucial aspect of the conveyancing process is for our solicitors to do a "priority search" on the property title. The problem here is that as a lease extension has been submitted we've been told by our conveyancing practitioners it may not be possible to do this "priority search" right now as the new property title number is not known. Is it right that we have to hold on pending registration of the new lease?
I am the freeholder of a property in Hersham and a leaseholder has requested a lease extension. Her so called valuation expert has provided a figure of £9,000, but has upped this by £2,000 at the drop of a hat. My surveyor has come back with £12,520. Negotiations have broken down so it looks at though we need to go to LVT. If a lease extension does go to tribunal, can I deal with this myself, just armed with the valuations I have? If not, what charges would I be likely to face?
We have a one bedroom apartment in Hersham with a lease of 79 years left with a value of around £410000 we want to add 125 years to it, how much is that likely to cost?
