I own a three bedroom first floor purpose built flat in Billingshurst that I now cannot sell due to the lease requiring a lease extension. What's your solicitors fee ?
Hello, I stumbled upon your website. I'm seeking prices on what a lease extension will cost for a one bedroom apartment based in Billingshurst. It's up for sale at the moment but has around 71 years of unexpired leasehold
I am looking for a lease extension on the lease on my two bedroom ground floor purpose built maisonette in Billingshurst which will have 71 years outstanding in August. What fees are applicable?
We had entered into buying a one bedroom apartment in Billingshurst. I was advised by the EA that the lease extension had already been completed while on a viewing (68 years remaining prior to extension). The sales particulars said "sold with a long lease". It transpires as we are about to exchange of contracts we find that there has been no lease extension. The owner supposedly has a quote but no finances to extend and consequently the owner wants to exchange and use the deposit monies for the lease extension. My question is how is possible that the estate agent got it so wrong?
I'm intent on buying a flat in Billingshurst valued at £210,000 the flat has something like seventy years unexpired on the lease. I put in an offer subject to a lease extension... .. that was back in June, expecting I'd be in by Christmas. They have just come back saying they are willing to reduce the price by£2k if they don't have to deal with the lease extension. I'm unsure whether that's a good idea
Just a quick one, how much are the legal fees for a lease extension on a residential property in Billingshurst for a three bed flat - section 42 having been issued?
I am the freeholder of a property in Billingshurst where the leaseholder would like a lease extension. Her valuer has provided a figure of £9,000, but has increased this to £10,000 without too much effort. My valuer has recommended a much higher figure. She does not appear to wish to negotiate wanting to go to a FTT. If a lease extension does go to tribunal, can I handle the matter myself, just armed with the valuations I have? If not, what fee would I be likely to incur?
My colleague is concerned about seeking a lease extension from an objectionable landlord. Notwithstanding that the legal procedures were followed under the appropriate legislation, the freeholder still tried to get ground rent of £250 increasing by 100% every twenty years of the new lease. Can you help?
We have a one bedroom apartment in Billingshurst with a lease of 75 years left with a value of around £290000 we want to add 90 years to it, how much is that likely to cost?
I'm looking for some advice with regard to a lease extension on my one bedroom second floor purpose built maisonette in Billingshurst. I'll be looking to do this sometime next year as we need to move at some point then. Unfortunately the current lease is now very short and therefore I'm guessing it'll be expensive to extend. I'm also thinking that I'll probably have to go down the tribunal route. Can you recommend a good conveyancers who specialises in lease extensions?
