Common questions relating to Alrewas Lease Extensions
I bought a studio flat located in Alrewas with a leasehold unexpired of 74 years. I am curious about how much it will cost me to extend my lease
The terms for the lease on my flat in Alrewas are 95 years from 14 Sep 1980. Please provide me a quote for a lease extension if I give you more details please?
I am deliberating whether to purchase the freehold or a lease extension of my property in Alrewas and have been in touch with the freeholder, have had quote for around £4k to extend the lease. I will be doing a refinance with Birmingham Midshires to free up equity. The adviser handling the remortgage suggested I get two estimates : one for the lease extension and one for outright acquisition .The lease began in 1979 and since then the ground rent has been raised from £15.00 per annum to £125 per year.
I am concerned that my daughter is being hoodwinked. She put in an offer on a one bedroom second floor purpose built maisonette in Alrewas, where the lease is approximately 68 years but she was told by the estate agents that the vendor had extended it to 125 years. Only now has she been advised the flat owner was waiting for her to appoint solicitors before commencing with the lease extension. Sounds devious, also it may take months to sort it all out. What do you think?
We have a residential flat in Alrewas with seventy two years unexpired. Last year we were quoted a deal to receive a lease extension for a further thirty years but also uplift the ground rent from nominal to a little more..plus a premium I think of about 10k. Finally we have decided to proceed but do we now have to renegotiate?
I am hoping to extend the lease on my ground floor flat in Alrewas I am looking for a local company to calculate the premium. I have a premium value that the freeholder has given me. I would like to go forward as soon as possible, but for the right premium and fee.
I'm looking at buying an apartment in Alrewas at a price of £195,000 the flat has something like sixety one years unexpired on the lease. I put in an offer conditional upon a lease extension... .. that was back in August, expecting I'd have completed by now. The seller has just come back saying they are willing to knock £5k off if I deal with the lease extension myself. I'm not sure if I should take them up on the offer
My husband and I are acquiring a garden flat in Alrewas which has share of freehold and a leasehold. The lease was on the short side so the owner commenced dealing with a lease extension. The owner has submitted the lease extension paperwork to HMLR. An essential part of the house buying process is for our conveyancers to do a "priority search" on the lease. The concern here is that as a lease extension has been submitted we've been told by our property lawyers it may not be possible to do this "priority search" right now as the new lease title number is not known. Is it right that we must hold on until the new lease is registered?
We have a one bed flat in Alrewas with a lease of seventy seven years left with a value of around £410000 we want to add 125 years to it, how much is that likely to cost?
I'm looking for some advice with regard to a lease extension on my garden flat in Alrewas. I'll be looking to do this sometime next year as we need to move at some point then. Unfortunately the current lease is now very short and therefore I'm guessing it'll be expensive to extend. I'm also thinking that I'll probably have to go down the tribunal route. Should I look to extend it now or wait until I sell my place and have it all tied in with the property sale?
