Adwick le Street Lease Extensions: Q and A’s
My partner has an apartment based in Adwick le Street which we are about to put on the market. The leasehold has nearon seventy two years remaining on it and we are concerned this will come up for anyone who may be interested. Can you please assist on how we get started on a lease extension? Many thanks.
I need to extend my current lease can you help me with that? My investigation with the Land Registry reveal that it has sixety years left
I would like to have my residential flat leasehold extension premium valued. The flat is in Adwick le Street, and my lease will reach 63 years this Septembmer. Could you advise me about the costs and time-frame to obtain your valuation? Also, do you represent your clients at the Tribunal court?
The terms for the lease on my apartment in Adwick le Street are 95 years from 10 Sep 1989. Can you provide me a quote to extend the lease if I give you more details please?
We wish to extend our lease having owned the place for 2 years as of 11th Jan 2016. It has nearon 56 years remaining currently. Hoping to get a lease extension with a further 90 years as quickly and stress free as possible.
I am planning to get a lease extension and am wondering which step I have to do first, I have been previously told that I have to have the finances in place before I set the ball rolling, is this correct?
Hi I own the freehold title in a 3 bedroom flat in Adwick le Street. The leaseholder has a sixety one year lease and would like to purchase an additional 125 years. She is offering me £21,000 but I am unsure if this is a correct amount
My partner and I are purchasing a ground floor flat in Adwick le Street which has share of freehold and a leasehold. The lease was starting to get low so the seller is in the process of extending the lease. The seller’s lawyer has submitted the lease extension paperwork to HMLR. A crucial aspect of the conveyancing process is for our conveyancers to do a pre-completion search on the lease. The concern here is that as a lease extension has been submitted we've been told by our conveyancers it may not be possible to do this "priority search" right now as the new lease title number has not been issued. Is it correct that we must be patient until the lease extension has actually been registered before completing.?
My OH and I are hoping to purchase a flat (a ground floor flat located inAdwick le Street with share of freehold). Throughout our search, we were always looking at flats that had at least 84 years outstanding. We came across a flat we liked and the selling agent promised us that the lease was long albeit not specifying a number. Today our conveyancers advised us the lease only has 64 years and thus needs a lease extension. Do we walk away, or do we lower our offer by the estimated difference in value resulting from the short lease term setting aside that money to cover the lease extension?
I have a lease of 65 years remaining on my flat in Adwick le Street. We are looking for a lease extension, so we contacted our freehold company and they came back with a quote that was double the amount and half the extension time that the lease extension calculator provided. Is there anyway, without racking up a huge legal bill, we can ask the freehold company to provide their computation of the amount and how they derived to it?
